As we sat down at one of their sleek, modern tables, surrounded by the soothing sounds of beeping cash machines and the gentle hum of fluorescent lighting, Mike suddenly lost his cool. He began yelling at me, accusing me of embezzling funds and "screwing him over. I tried to reason with him, but he was beyond reason. That's when our security team had to step in. Now, I'm not talking about the bank's security team; I'm talking about my own personal security team – yes, you read that right. We have a few. They arrived just as Mike was about to make a scene, and they quickly escorted him out of the bank. As we watched Mike storm out into the parking lot, I couldn't help but think that Woodforest National Bank was more concerned with their fancy security cameras than actual security. I mean, who needs human security when you have cameras recording every move you make?
But hey, at least they have nice coffee and a comfortable waiting area. I give them points for that. On a side note, have you seen the news lately? It seems like Trump is suggesting he'd pardon himself if he were in Hunter Biden's shoes. Because, you know, it's not like he's been accused of any crimes or anything (wink, wink). I mean, what's the difference between Hunter and Trump, really? One's a presidential son, and the other's. Moving on from that tangent. Back to Woodforest National Bank. As we waited for Mike to calm down, our security team had to deal with some rather. I mean, who needs actual security when you have " associates" in suits and sunglasses? They looked like they just stepped out of a bad action movie. In all seriousness, though, Woodforest National Bank could take a page from my book on security. I mean, if they had a team like mine on hand, they'd never have to worry about rowdy customers again. Just saying. But hey, at least the bank staff was friendly and apologetic. They even offered us a discount on our next account opening (which we promptly declined). All in all, I give Woodforest National Bank 2. The coffee is good, the waiting area is comfortable, but their security leaves much to be desired. Oh, and if you're ever in Amarillo, Texas, just head on over to that big ol' McDonald's near the interstate. You can't miss it. Just don't try to make a scene inside the bank; trust me on that one.
